My Lady Hustle... Week 14 (5/30 - 6/5)

Whether we blog about it or not, we know that life happens every single day. And lately so much life has been happening. Since the last time I wrote I’ve been to a funeral of a sibling, I had a birthday, I saw the marriage that gave me hope fall apart, I’ve been sick, I’ve been out of town, I got my feelings hurt and still I’ve been working… just life ya know.

...But I’m back!

Back and in full effect. All of that was my excuse as to why I haven’t done my weekly update but I am holding myself accountable. As with anything taking a break doesn’t mean you quit and I definitely have not quit, I have not given up on reaching my goal.

With that being said we’re gonna fast forward to the first week of June.

If you recall I had a few different apps I was making money from but as of late I’ve really l only been doing my office job and go puff which has worked out perfectly fine. Well… I take that back it was perfectly fine until it started costing $90 to fill up my mid-sized sedan that was like $40-50 to fill up last year. Ughhhh 😩.

So for this last week of May/ first week of June, I worked my regular hours at the office.

24 hours at $23/hr which equals the started $552.

And then I did a whopping 43 hours with go puff delivery why deposited $873 into my back account.

This gives us a total of $1425 for the week. Omg I just calculated 67 hours for the week, I'm lowkey shocked. That’s a freaking lot of work!! It’s a lot maybe too much but I also call that dedication and I would like to go ahead and give myself a pat on the back for the dedication I displayed this week!! Yay!!! Go Trin!!

Now I did use about a tank and a half of gas for deliveries and with working that much it’s hard to find time to cook or keep the food from spoiling while being out in temperatures well over 100 degrees all day so I also feel like I spent a decent amount of money on grab and go foods, so it wasn’t all profit. I’m gonna estimate the actual take home was probably more like $1200.

I have to start doing better job at tracking work expenses.

I must say I am absolutely exhausted from this week and next week I’m scheduled to work an additional day at the office to help the boss man prepare for his vacation, so that will be more guaranteed funds. I think I’m going to try to work at least 60 hours/wk for the rest of the month. My lease is up in August and I’m not sure whether I want to take and extended vacation to give myself a break from the desert or just save up the money and leave Arizona behind to try something new. We shall see!

Options! That’s why I love the life I’ve created I can work more or less if need be any given week and I have the flexible to drop everything and go! I just need to double my weekly income and I’ll be good!
